For Leg 2 through Southeast Asia, we've made a few changes to our gear:
As we're not camping on this trip, we're not carrying any of the above camping gear. This has lightened our load considerably and we've been able to ditch the Y-frame trailer and rack pack in favour of rear Ortlieb panniers on Linda's bike
Luca had outgrown his front-mounted BoBike seat, so we opted for a rear-mounted BoBike Junior - one of the few child bike seats that can be used with panniers
Quality bike shops aren't quite as common as on our European leg, as a result we're carrying more spare parts for the bikes, including cables, brakes, tubes and spokes
