Luca's baby brother, Eli, was born this morning at 1.40am in Christchurch Women's Hospital following a remarkably quick, 2 hour labour and a problem free natural delivery. He weighed 7lbs 5oz. All is very well with mother and child.
Welcome to the world, little kiwi!

Congratulations to you all!
Our bikes crossed paths in Austria, about a year and a half ago, and I just thought I'd check your site today to see how you were. Just in time to congratulate you on the arrival of Eli! Glad your adventures went well, and that you've found a decent place to settle.
All the best!

Many congratulations on the arrival of little Eli. I am sure Luca is very excited about his baby brother.
We cycled into Cape Town on Eli's birthday! 12,500km, 456 days on the road, 20 countries and thousands of memories.
All the best,
Matt, Debs and Toad
